First go to the all to handy Google, and search for the keywords “Dentist in Mexico,” or the “dentist in Tijuana”, You’ll find a series of dental websites for dentists in Tijuana, Mexico. Tijuana is the best place to go the as it is situated just across the border from San Diego, CA, which is the largest U.S. city on the Mexican border, and there is a much easier access to the U.S. and a major airport. Flights to San Diego are much cheaper and more common than El Paso, Texas.
Find an English Speaking Dentist based on their website information, and see if they offer transportation from the border to the Dental Clinic, many will, and some even accept US health insurance. Either way you are looking to pay around 75% less than you would in the United States.

I’m a huge fan of a good steak, and one of my favorite places to eat steak is actually in Tijuana. I think it’s because the beef is fresher in Mexico, it’s less processed, and well the atmosphere and ambiance are everything. That’s why when I’m in Tijuana I go to El Taurino’s. It’s a moderatly priced steakhouse in Tijuana, it’s address is 7957 Sixth St. (just off Revolución),

El Taurino also has a full bar, with some excellent wine selections. And if you aren’t into steak, they have some great poultry and seafood dishes that are a perfect change of pace.
Adelita Bar opened its doors in 1962 and is the # 1 tourist bar in Tijuana. The beer is cold and cheap, and there are plenty of women available. Upstairs rooms at the Hotel Coahuila are around 15 dollars per half hour.

As you are heading to Tijuana for the first time their are lots of things you have to consider. One of them is where to stay. Personally I am a fan of what I call “dive motels”. The cheapest of the cheap. But every once in awhile when I want to splurge I take things up a notch and stay in a luxury hotel.

In our experience by far the Grand Hotel exceeds all of the above although Pueblo Amigo is a very close second. The food is amazing at the Pueblo Amigo, and the gambling and central location make it a favorite as far as quick access to services, and entertainment throughout the city.
